Veterinary surgeon Aoife Morrow runs Derm Vet NI, a referral veterinary dermatology service in Northern Ireland.
With a longstanding interest in dermatology and a postgraduate qualification in the field, Aoife sees pets with concerns ranging from allergies to complex skin conditions.

An interest that became a focus

Aoife graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Liverpool in 2014. She has worked in Northern Ireland since then, beginning in mixed animal practice before moving into small animal practice.
She quickly developed a keen interest in dermatology, drawn to both the challenge and the reward of treating skin cases.
That interest led her back to the University of Liverpool for postgraduate study. In July 2021, she gained her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, specialising in dermatology.
Since then, Aoife has seen a wide range of referral dermatology cases, from allergy investigations to complex autoimmune conditions.
